This is a good starting point. You can find what the lowest rates are in your area for the liability insurance, and then call the insurance companies with the lowest rates to inquire about additional insurance, which is usually referred to ‘full coverage insurance.’

You definitely want to ensure that you have a collision policy that will cover your bike in the event of an accident that results in damages to your bike. Make sure that the coverage is high enough to pay you the value of the bike in case the bike is a total loss. This includes coverage for theft – make sure the maximum coverage covers the value of your bike otherwise the insurance may not be worth having.
